David McDonald has been apart of OSI Group for thirty years. He started out as a project manager after getting out of college. He has since worked his way up to president and chief operating officer. OSI Group is the largest company supplier of food products. What started out as a butcher shop in Chicago turned into the leader food supplier. David McDonald spent his childhood growing up on a farm. He grew up in Iowa and went to Iowa State University. He has a bachelor’s degree in animal science and an outstanding senior award. He still actively associates with the college, providing financial support for scholarship funds and internship opportunities for students. He associates with the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. This involvement has earned him an alumni association award and an emerging philanthropist award. He has six children, two of which are students at Iowa State University.

Being with the company for thirty years, David McDonald has contributed to its success. He works hard with his team to make sure they’re able to meet the needs of the market. The market is constantly changing and evolving, so they make sure to stay caught up with it. Since he joined the company, they’ve done a lot of growing. Alongside his thirty years at OSI Group, David McDonald is also the chairman for North American Meat Institute. He has been an independent director for Marfrig Global Foods. Besides being the president and chief operating officer, he’s also on the board of directors. He’s also the director of OSI International Foods in Australia. He is endorsed in the Food Industry and in Food Processing. He has knowledge in business, food, agriculture, marketing and many other categories.
